Nikolas. Cypriot. 31 – aka the “Boy”. I wasn’t the biggest fan of travelling.. I travelled – don’t get me wrong – but you know.. I wasn’t very enthusiastic about it. Not because I was afraid or anything (the Boy fears nothing – except snakes, sea snakes, sharks, jelly fish, all kind of living things that can kill you and heights) but because I couldn’t be bothered; you know, the travel hassle: pack, travel, unpack (or live off the suitcase), pack, travel, unpack… Do you feel me? I don’t know how many of you know this BBC TV show called “An idiot abroad” (it’s awesome by the way). Well… I was almost that guy.
However, all that changed after some time I spent with the Girl. Specifically, it’s been six years now. At the beginning I was “taking her places”. Now, she leads the way: she always proposes “unconventional” (at least according to my standard) places, I complain, we go, and it’s usually amazing. She has somehow managed to imprint her enthusiasm, curiosity and desire to travel the world onto me. Kudos to her! 🙂
